We are part of starting nonprofit association for Internet of Things (IoT). The grounding meeting was held on 04. October in TTU Mectory. The purpose for the association is to leap forward the IoT services, development, tools and availability in Estonia to increase efficiency, productivity, cost and ecology saving.

In the meeting, following companies and organisations were present: Eesti Elektroonikatööstuse Liit, Eesti Tarkvara Tehnoloogia Arenduskeskus, Tehnolabor, Tauria, Unitcom Eesti, Nordic Automation Systems, THE Systems, Thinnect, Led Lamp, Uptime, Erply, Estrotech, Tallinna Tehnikaülikool, Tartu Ülikool, Advokaadibüroo Glimstedt, Rantelon ja CoreGrow.

The Internet of things (stylized Internet of Things or IoT) is the inter-networking of physical devices, vehicles (also referred to as “connected devices” and “smart devices”), buildings and other items—embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data.
